The Netherlands-Australia 1606-2006 logo
The design of the logo for the commemorations in 2006 was part of a competition won by Katherine Dobell. Katherine received a Master's degree of the University of Canberra in Graphic Design. The logo is based on the typically Australian Southern Cross and the Dutch orange tulip. As part of her prize Katherine did an internship at Studio Dumbar in Rotterdam, kindly supported by KLM airlines. Katherine has her own website: Katherine Dobell The logo is a registered trademark. It may be used free of charge on websites or publications on condition that the owner has given written authorisation. Please send requests for the use of the logo to: (in the Netherlands) the VOC Fund; (in Australia) the Netherlands Embassy in Canberra.
The logo may not be used for commercial purposes.
